A Blessing

Since I have been teaching myself to sew I have had my eye on a Serger. But our budget at the moment doesn't allow me to purchase one. They are expensive and I have learned to make do.

Last week my husband gave two of our computers to a co-worker and went to there house after work to get the computers set up and networked together. He called me on the way home and said that his co-worker sent something home for him to give to me.

When he arrived Steven presented me with this!!

WOW! What a gift. I was overwhelmed at such kindness. What a blessing this was. I immediately sent her an email thanking her for her generosity.

She responded by telling me that she bought this from a women who was moving overseas and couldn't take it with her. She tried to figure out how to use it but ended up only using it twice. She decided to give to someone who would get many uses from it.

I'm so excited about learning how to use this machine. I have been dreaming about the many many projects that I could do. The prospects are endless. Thank you, Linda for the gift you truly are a blessing!

My mom gave me a serger a couple of years ago. I have to admit that I don't use it as much as I should, but I love it when I do. Enjoy!

Oh, how lovely! I love my serger. When I had trouble using my first one (Secondhand with no manual available) the owner of my local sewing store was a big help.

What a great surpise!! No doubt you will find plenty of uses for it. It really gives clothing a professional finish.

Brilliant! Must confess I have one but hardly ever use it - perhaps it is time to bring it down from the attic :)
