Handprint Apron
This would be a great project your kids can be proud of . Especially when they get to help you with the baking for the holidays! It's quick, easy, and lots of fun to do.
You can find these aprons at local craft store unless you can sew your own. You can even get some of that puffy paint and write their name on it.
They will be so eager to help in the kitchen after making their very own apron. Have fun and don't forget to take some pictures. I'd love to see your little ones with their art projects!
CRAFT MATERIALS:
Solid-colored apron
Fabric paints
Paper plates
Fabric pen
Time needed: Under 1 Hour
1. Cover a work area with newspaper, and lay the apron right side up. Pour a little paint into a paper plate.
2. Have kids press their hands in the paint, move them around until the palm sides are covered, then place their handprints on the apron. Continue until the apron is covered with prints.
3. Write each child's name with a fabric pen under his handprint. Let dry for at least one day before wearing.
Happy Crafting!
