Pinecone Turkey
This silly turkey is a fun project kids can make to celebrate fall and Thanksgiving.
Time: 30 minutes
Materials
- Pinecone
- Feathers – Satinette Loose Fall Mix
- Wiggle Eyes
- Foam Sheets- Red and Yellow
- Chenille Pipe Cleaner - Brown
- Craft Glue
- Scissors
Glue assorted feathers into the wide end of the pinecone.
Cut chenille stem in half. Using one half, fold it in half and bend the folded end over to shape the head. Glue cut ends into pinecone as seen in photo.
Cut wattle out of red foam and glue to the side of the chenille stem head.
Glue wiggle eyes in place.
Tip: Use them as place cards at your table- write your guest’s name on cardstock and slip into the pinecone.
