Craft Project Thursday – BHG Style!

I know all of you have heard of Better Homes and Gardens. Aren’t they fabulous? Did you know that they have 100’s of craft projects on their site? They have crafts for most holidays . Just like this one!

Keepsake Crafts for Easter

These simple springtime-fresh crafts make it easy to get ready for an Easter celebration.

Cheep Chic

These adorable chick-shape egg cozies -- a playful take on British tea cozies -- keep soft-cooked eggs piping hot.

-- Cut two simple chick shapes from yellow terry cloth.

-- Layer two pieces on top of each other (the wrong sides out).

-- Stitch the edges together, leaving the base open.

-- Turn right side out.

-- Stitch eyes with black thread and sew on a black felt beak.

Most of the crafts are just as simple as this one. There are crafts for kids, the avid crafter, as well as the novice. In my opinion, Better Homes and Gardens is one of the best places to find craft projects. I have a few wash cloths that I can cut up and turn into these cute little chicks. Keep and eye out! I’ll be posting pictures soon!

Happy Crafting!!
