Klutz Book Giveaway!!!

So how many of you loved the Klutz Books when you were a kid? I know I did. I loved getting these interactive craft books. They are so fun. Even now my daughter and I love finding news ones to purchase just so we can do a new craft together.

How many of you made friendship bracelets when you were a kid? Me!!! I was a bracelet fanantic and made them all the time. But back then I didn't get fancy. I wish I had a book back then to show me how.

Now you can! Klutz Books sent me this awesome book, Fancy Friendship Bracelets to check out. It comes with over 200 beads, 5 colors of waxed cording, and six charms.

My daughter and I made some together and she did a better job than me. I guess it's because her fingers are younger than mine. LOL But I did learn a neat trick to keep the ends from fraying, we added a bit of fray check to the cording and let it dry. This prevented a lot of the fraying issues we had. If you don't have fray check, just make the strands a tad longer so that when you cut the frayed ends you still have a bracelet that fits. I learned from experience. I'm just say'n. I wish I could show you a picture of the one my daughter made but she's in school and has it on.

The pictures in this book are big and easy to see. The instructions are step by step and very thorough. I understood them and so did my daughter who has a tough time with reading anyway.

The book even tells you what size beads and cording to buy when you run out of the ones they provide you. One thing I hate is having to guess at what size to buy. I have been there done that. This book is awesome!

So on to the giveaway.

This is such an awesome giveaway.

There is not one, but two winners AND you win not one but TWO Klutz Fancy Friendship Bracelet Books. One to keep and one to share with a friend. How cool is this!!!

Giveaway starts today and will end November 30th. This is for US residents (internationals may enter if you have a US resident that can accept your prize by mail).

Now on to how you can win.

I'm mainly a x-stitcher. I remember trying to make friendship bracelets when I was a teen, but the books available were so user-unfriendly.

Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<

Well, I don't have any kids but I do know a couple girls and would love to enter for them. I wish I could scrapbook better, but it's something I love to do...and if I could make jewelry, that would be awesome.
