3 day Challenge by Neosporin

A few days ago I took the Neosporin 3 day challenge. Before I was asked to do this I didn't know that Neosporin had any type of lip therapy. When I think of Neosporin I think cuts and scrapes not hydrating lips. But I was curious so find out how well this stuff would work. So I jumped at the chance.

When I applied it the first time, it did feel a tad greasy and you really didn't need a whole lot of the stuff to get great coverage. But I noticed that I only needed to apply once or twice during the day. Even after had something to drink or eat my lips still felt as if they were getting the hydration they needed. Many time with other brands I find myself applying it at least ten times a day. I can imagine that this stuff will last me a lot longer than most brands do.


The day treatment comes in a .35 oz tube and the night treatment is in a small container. The night treatment feels just like the day. It's a bit greasy but thicker than most lip therapies. By morning my lips were not dry at all and in fact I could still feel the stuff on my lips and it felt awesome not to wake up with dry cracked lips.

My skin is dry everywhere and in the winter time it gets even worse. There are at least three or four times a year when my lips get so bad they bleed. I keep them bathed in lip moisture for that reason. But having to buy them so often because I have to reapply all the time can get pricey.


By third day , my lips look healthier and feel hydrated. Seriously! Oh and let's not forget that the day treatment has an SPF of 20! That's a lot of protection.
